Three jailed for counterfeiting

yesterday sentenced three members of a counterfeiting group headed by Zhao
Weixin to jail terms ranging from two years to four years for violating
registered trademarks.
From August 2001, Zhao, who used to be chairman of a Taiwanese company,
organized the production of fake auto parts with Zhao Weilun and Zhao Ding'an,
in the city. The group produced more than 2.3 million fake auto parts, which
they sold for 14.75 million yuan (US$1.82 million).
