A clerk of the Beijing Xidan Book Building shows a
book recording Kuomintang chairman Lien Chan's historic trip to the
mainland in Beijing May 22, 2005. The book "Chronicles of Len Chan's
Mainland Visit" chronicles truthfully and objectively Lien's
visit, and also collects comments, opinions and background
information. At the invitation of the Communist Party of China, Lien from
Taiwan made a historic visit to the mainland from late April to early
