A six-legged rescue robot developed by Shanghai Jiaotong University made its debut on Oct 28. With a carrying capacity of 300 kilograms and a maximum speed of 1.2 km per hour, the robot is designed for search, rescue and transportation work in dangerous conditions like fire or chemical contamination.
