On May 21, customers and executives from the Audi sales division at Sino-German joint venture FAW Volkswagen celebrated exceeding sales of 3 million units of Audi cars since 1988.Ceremonies were also held simultaneously in other cities, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou and Dalian.

The company launched a number of commemorative editions of the Audi A6L, A4L, A3 and Q3.Audi has been the biggest premium car provider in China for more than two decades. Last year, it moved 575,077 vehicles in China. It will introduce the A3 Sportback e-tron plug-in hybrid car to China this year as an import. The marque also plans to manufacture the A6L e-tron plug-in hybrid sedan in China next year.
