FAW-VW's $1.9 billion Qingdao plant

FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co's began the construction of the Qingdao plant in November. With a total investment of 11 billion yuan ($1.9 billion), the plant is expected to start production in 2017. The plant's phase one will has an annual productivity of 300,000 finished vehicles.
