The 8th China Annual Nuclear Energy Congress will be held in Beijing on Thursday and Friday. With the experience gained from last year's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident in Japan, this year's conference will address world nuclear energy prospects, the restart of China's new nuclear energy projects, the localization and self-reliance of China's nuclear industry and the global uranium supply and demand outlook.

More than 260 delegates are scheduled to attend this year's meeting, including staff from China National Nuclear Corp, Areva China and Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy.
