HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks went down 57.7 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 23,626.43 on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,598.39 and 23, 706.00. Turnover totaled HK$73.50 billion ($9.45 billion).
