HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks gained 110.06 points, or 0.48 percent, to close at 23,011.14 on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 22,924.46 and 23,057.72. Turnover totaled HK$60.41 billion ($7.77 billion).
