Cathay Fin to tap mainland asset management market

Cathay Financial, Taiwan's top financial holding firm, said on Wednesday it is aiming to tap Chinese mainland's asset management market this year.

Cathay Financial plans to form an asset management joint venture with a?mainland partner, as well as manage money for China's qualified domestic institutional investors (QDII) for their investments in Taiwan stocks, company president C. K. Lee told reporters.
