Chinese local government's debt risk is "controllable," according to an investigation by some commercial banks, Shanghai Securities News reported today, citing unidentified officals at China Citic Bank Corp, Bank of Communications Co, Shenzhen Development Bank Co, Guangdong Development Bank Co and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Co.
