Chinese stocks fall at midday Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese equities dropped Wednesday morning with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.94 percent to close at 2,622.67 points at midday.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.74 percent to 10,016.79 points.
