TCL Corp has denied a media report that it plans to list its personal computer operations on a domestic exchange.

In a statement filed with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the company said it has no plans to list its PC business but has not ruled out the possibility of taking in strategic investors as part of a new development strategy for its PC unit.

TCL currently has three major businesses - color televisions, handsets and PCs.

The first two are operated by TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Ltd and TCL Communication Technology Holdings Ltd, both of them listed in Hong Kong.
