China Everbright Ltd said its mainland incorporated associated unit, Everbright Securities Co Ltd, is planning to issue A shares in an initial public offering. The Hong Kong financial services group said in a statement yesterday that the unit is exploring a reinstatement of its 2004 accounts in order to meet the listing criteria of three consecutive years of profit.
