Energy tycoons to expand

Suntech Power Holdings Co Ltd, one of the world's leading solar energy companies specializing in the design, development, manufacturing and sale of photovoltaic (PV) cells, modules and systems, made its initial public offering (IPO) debut on the New York Stock Exchange on December 14 last year.

Other domestic solar energy companies such as Tianwei Yingli New Energy Resources Co Ltd and Nanjing PV-Tech Co Ltd are both willing to make their IPO debut on the New York Stork Exchange.

Some famous enterprises such as Ningbo Shanshan Co Ltd, Sichuan Chuantou Energy Co Ltd and Leshan Electricpower Co Ltd have solar energy businesses.
