Insurance: Ping An in hands with Ciming

Ping An Group yesterday inked a cooperation deal with Ciming Checkup, the country's largest health exam chain store, becoming China's first insurer to invest in the healthcare industry.

The investment in the checkup sector is a strategic move, and Ping An would expand its checkup industry business, a top manager said, declining to reveal the size of the stake the firm has in Ciming.
