Machinery: Sany doubles profit(Shanghai Daily)Updated: 2007-01-31 14:58 Sany Heavy Industry Co, China's biggest maker of concrete pumps, said profit last year more than doubled because of an 84 percent jump in its sales of machines used in the construction industry. Sany's earnings per share surpassed one yuan last year, from 0.45 yuan per
share in 2005, according to the company's deputy chairman Zhao Xiangzhang,
speaking at a conference yesterday organized by UBS AG in Shanghai. Sales jumped to 4.6 billion yuan ($592 million), he
