Construction: Vanke sees 9-month net profit up

China Vanke Co., the country's biggest listed property developer, said
Thursday it expected net profit for the first three quarters of 2006 to increase
by 50 to 60 percent from a year ago.
Vanke, whose first-half earnings jumped 54 percent, posted 872 million
(US$110 million) in net profits in the January through September period of
