Science: A helping hand

The Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), the industry
association for accountants in China, said yesterday it would support local
firms that apply for certified accountant qualifications in Hong Kong and the
United Kingdom.
The CICPA will organize training programmes together with
overseas institutions to help Chinese accountants acquire the Associate
Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification offered in the UK.
It will also
give advice about the Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant (HKCPA)
certificate.
