Aviation: Great expectation

Chinese Vice-Premier Zeng Peiyan called for technological breakthroughs in
key areas to make China a global power in aviation industry.
He made the remarks at a meeting in Beijing Monday to commemorate the 55th
anniversary of the founding of China's aviation industry.
China's aviation industry has grown into an important sector with relatively
complete manufacturing and research systems and has made significant
contribution to the national economic construction, Zeng said.
