Tourists paddleboard through Yunnan's lotus ponds for a relaxing summer
As summer arrives, paddleboarding has emerged as a favorite activity among tourists visiting the Puzhehei scenic area in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province.
Under the glow of the setting sun, many tourists, equipped with safety gear, take to the water under the guidance of staff. Some paddle leisurely on their own, gliding through the lotus-filled waterways, while others join friends and family, playing and taking photos on the water.
Dong Ran, a tourist from Beijing, said that paddleboarding is very safe, easy to learn, and can be quickly mastered even by beginners. She added that it is perfect for friends and family to enjoy together.
The scenic area now offers a variety of water activities, such as kayaking, electric speedboats, and water-based obstacle courses.
