The 2.0 version of an intelligent control kit for process manufacturing was launched on Saturday, realizing breakthroughs in process twin, real-time optimization, planning and scheduling, scheduling decision-making, safety, and environmental control.

The intelligent control kit was launched during the innovative development conference of National Technology Innovation Center for Smart Process Manufacturing held in Minhang district in Shanghai.

More than 200 representatives from the government, universities, research institutes, and industry leaders gathered to witness the latest achievements of independent industrial software in the field of intelligent control of process manufacturing in China, and to discuss a new path for empowering the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry with artificial intelligence.

The 1.0 version of the intelligent control kit has been successfully applied to over 20 industry leaders, covering process manufacturing fields such as petrochemical, chemical, steel, building materials, and non-ferrous metals, serving as a powerful support for the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of China's process manufacturing industry.

The center was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in December 2022. Led by East China University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Process Intelligence Innovation Research Institute and co-organized by leading companies and institutions across the country, it officially settled in Minhang district in March 2025.
