WASHINGTON - A US Army Apache helicopter gunship crashed near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, and two crew members were rescued, the New York Times reported, citing two people briefed on the incident.
The cause of the crash remains unclear and an investigation is underway, the report said.
US President Donald Trump said the pilots are "fine" and a report will be issued later on the incident, according to local media.
