A hospital in North China's Shanxi province is providing psychological counseling for miners injured in a coal gas explosion that occurred Friday evening. In an interview with China Daily, Cui Hongwei, a psychiatrist at the people's hospital in Qinyuan county of Shanxi, said most injured miners are now in a relatively stable emotional condition after receiving counseling and care. For patients showing signs of more severe psychological trauma, the hospital will continue follow-up support through phone check-ins and long-term mental health monitoring.
