An elegant cultural gathering celebrating the heritage of Taizhe Temple and Jietai Temple was held at the Peony Courtyard of Jietai Temple on May 21. Organized by the Mentougou District Culture and Tourism Bureau, this event focused on thethemes of "Heritage Preservation, Ecological Integration, and Industry Innovation."

The event featured three thematic dialogue sessions, bringing together experts and scholars in cultural history, ancient architecture preservation, cultural tourism operations, and artistic creation. Discussions explored topics including heritage preservation, ecological integration, industry innovation, and brand enhancement, with the aimof promoting collaborationin cultural preservation, tourism development, and artistic creativity.

The heritage preservation session focused on the cultural legacy of ancient temple architecture. Experts examined the wisdom behind ancient temple site selection, the preservation of traditional construction techniques, and the integration of green building concepts with heritage preservation. Drawing on case studies, they offered practical suggestions for revitalizing heritage sites.

The cultural tourism development session leveraged Mentougou's unique cultural and ecological resources. Participants discussed the development of cultural IP related to Tanzhe Temple and Jietai Temple, ancient tree study programs, low-carbon cultural tourism initiatives, and the digital empowerment of "Cultural Relics+." Their insights aimed to provide fresh ideasfor the high-quality growth of the region's cultural tourism sector.
