Mai Yingxin from Lanzhou University, Gansu province, talked about a display of bows and arrows used in the Hexi Corridor between the third and sixth centuries, demonstrating the cultural integration in the region at the time. Zhou Ruixia from Yunnan University, in Kunming, talked about the modes of cultural communication for small and medium-sized nationality museums, and Li Qian from the Culture Palace of Nationalities cited an exhibition of cultural relics and ancient texts at her venue to illustrate the community spirit of the Chinese nation. Zhou Zhou from Chengdu Museum, Sichuan province, explored how small and medium-sized museums, at city and county levels, can construct a community narrative system.
Luo Jihua who heads the museum of the Culture Palace of Nationalities, said the symposium continues to thrive as a high-quality platform for young scholars in ethnic cultural heritage and museology to exchange diverse perspectives. It also shows their sense of responsibility and commitment to the research and exhibition of China's diverse cultures.
