Xi: US enterprises to have broader prospects in China
President Xi Jinping said on Thursday that China will open its door wider to the world, and it welcomes more mutually beneficial cooperation with the United States.
Xi made the remarks while meeting with US entrepreneurs accompanying US President Donald Trump on his state visit to China. The meeting took place during talks between Xi and Trump at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Trump introduced each of the business leaders to Xi, saying he encourages them to expand their cooperation with China.
Xi noted that US enterprises are deeply involved in China's reform and opening-up process, and both sides benefit from this engagement.
He said that US companies will have broader prospects in China.
The US entrepreneurs expressed their high regard in the Chinese market, and the desire to deepen their business operations in China and strengthen cooperation with China.
