Shipbuilding sector posts robust growth
China's shipbuilding sector posted strong growth across its three major indicators in the first quarter of 2026, maintaining a leading share of the global market, data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed. From January to March, the country's shipbuilding output reached 15.68 million deadweight tons, up 46 percent year-on-year and accounting for 57.3 percent of the global total, the data showed.
Precise data to boost power services
The country's power operator has strengthened high-quality services to improve communication with clients. The State Grid Xuzhou Power Supply Co recently launched a campaign through household visits, precisely addressing service gaps. After forming an on-site visit list through its marketing system and digitalized service platform, staff members conducted standardized door-to-door verification to inquire about clients' power needs, and collected feedback on services. During the visit, over 60 service surveys were completed, 17 suggestions received and over 60 customer contact details updated, effectively enhancing their services in Jiangsu province.
