Nature life market blends business, art and nature in Shanghai
Under the plane trees in Sinan Mansions, a large crowd gathered to enjoy the pure a cappella melodies performed by the Les Croissants choir, marking a vibrant miniature of the Sinan Fuxing Nature Life Market, a flagship event of the 2026 Nature Life Season.
Open from April 30 to May 4, the market at Sinan Mansions and Fuxing Park was a highlight of the 2026 Shanghai International Flower Show at the Huangpu main venue, blending business, art and nature, featuring music performances, floral aesthetics, heritage crafts, and pet-friendly activities to showcase the city's vibrant and inclusive urban lifestyle.
The market featured over 100 unique vendors in six themed zones: digital wellness, delicacies, pet interaction, handmade crafts, lifestyle aesthetics, and floral gardening.
While Sinan Mansions offered trendy leisure experiences such as DIY sessions, pet-friendly activities, home-roasted coffee and limited-edition embroidery by local artists, Fuxing Park, in collaboration with Shanghai Horticulture Group, showcased nearly 50 varieties of edible herbs, along with affordable plant stalls and engaging succulent DIY activities for visitors.
Additionally, activities such as intangible cultural heritage workshops, swing dance flash mobs, and electronic Baduanjin sessions allowed art to seamlessly blend with everyday leisure.
