In the field of optical communication, Wuhan hosts the most complete industrial chain in the country. It is also home to leading domestic panel manufacturers like BOE, TCL CSOT, and Tianma in the new display sector.

Furthermore, Wuhan's smart terminal industry is thriving, with key players such as Lenovo's Wuhan base and Xiaomi's smart appliance factory, alongside a diverse array of AI-focused products.

Feng Dan, vice-president of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, noted that hosting the conference in Wuhan for the first time signifies strong recognition of the city's industrial strengths and academic standing in the electronic information field. This event is expected to further propel Wuhan toward becoming a global innovation hub in the electronic information industry.
