The thematic forum Telling Story Well: From Empathetic Communication to Cultural Identity is set to open this Saturday in Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan province. The event marks the launch of the 2026 China Internet Media Forum, a two-day gathering running through Sunday.
The thematic forum, which features more than 200 participants from China and abroad, provides a platform for scholars, media professionals and content creators to examine cultural communication in the digital age. The sessions are designed to address how empathetic storytelling can cultivate a deeper sense of global cultural identity, featuring experience-sharing and in-depth discussions.
