The Shiziyang Link is 35 kilometers long, and its main construction comprises the bridge and land-based approach projects. It crosses the A-shaped Pearl River estuary, connecting Nansha district in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, with Shatian and Humen townships in Dongguan.
Each of the towers stands 342 meters tall, equivalent to a 110-story building. The bridge's extra-wide deck and large span impose a load of over 200,000 tons.
