Organon, a global healthcare company, said China's efforts to improve population development and advance a more health-centered medical system are creating fresh opportunities for global healthcare companies on the sidelines of the China Development Forum 2026 in Beijing.

The company said it sees strong potential in areas such as women's health, fertility support and chronic disease management as China moves to build a fertility-friendly society and respond to population aging.

At this year's forum, the company said it focused on two key groups — the elderly and the young — adding that scientific lipid management and building a fertility-friendly society are both closely linked to high-quality population development.

China is its second-largest market worldwide and a key pillar of its global strategy. It is deepening its local presence while expanding cooperation with local partners, according to the company.

It added that it is leveraging its global expertise in women's health and chronic disease management to support China's healthcare development, while also exploring more localized solutions in areas ranging from fertility care to cardiovascular disease prevention.

In the field of cardiovascular health, the company said it is working with healthcare partners to promote more scientific and standardized lipid management, improve patient stratification and precision treatment, and expand access to medicines through channels such as O2O and e-commerce platforms.

In women's health, the company said it is also strengthening solutions covering the full fertility journey, from fertility preservation to fertility treatment, while working with the government, healthcare institutions and industry associations to improve reproductive health services and public education.

"As China is increasingly emerging as a vital global hub for healthcare innovation, the vitality and global influence of China's healthcare industry are truly inspiring," said Zafer Unluer, president of Organon China. "We will continue to deepen collaboration with local partners and help drive the development of more accessible and sustainable healthcare solutions for women and their families."
