China raises age limit for commercial transport workers to 63

China's Ministry of Transport has raised the age limit for commercial transport professionals from 60 to 63, following an amendment to regulations on road transport personnel management that took effect Friday.
The extension applies to a range of roles, including commercial passenger and freight drivers, as well as personnel involved in the transport, loading, unloading and escorting of dangerous goods, and driving instructors.
Meanwhile, the conditions under which professional qualification certificates are revoked have also been adjusted.
