To ensure safe passage for the migratory birds, the Xingkai Lake National Nature Reserve strengthens patrols and clears traps using remote high-definition monitoring and intelligent surveillance.
Staff members are also bolstering emergency rescue efforts for the animals and conducting public education.
It is expected that the number of migratory birds at the lake will peak between late March and early April.
