Ahead of International Women's Day, a female-themed exhibition "Celebrate Every Side of You", hosted by Shanghai-based cosmetics brand Chando Group, opened on Thursday at the Chando Future Beauty Innovation Hub of Oriental Beauty Valley in Shanghai's Fengxian district.

Featuring art and immersive experiences, the exhibition showcases various dimensions of women's lives — such as their roles in careers, families, social circles and personal growth — paying tribute to diverse forms of female power. It runs until April 10.

Centered on an art installation, a themed art exhibition and dialogues, the event creates a space that integrates art appreciation, self-exploration and community bonding among women, conveying inclusive and diverse female values.

Artist Song Santu's themed series is also on display. Inspired by alpine flowers such as rheum nobile and snow lotus, she interprets women's vibrant vitality through artistic language.

At the opening ceremony, the group donated 100,000 yuan ($14,483) to the Women's Federation of Fengxian district to support local women suffering from critical illnesses.

Chen Juanling, general manager of corporate affairs at Chando Group, noted the company's long-term commitment to women's public welfare.

Chen also introduced the initiatives which include supporting 860 outstanding female students in the Xizang autonomous region with the China Children and Teenagers' Foundation, cooperating with the United Nations Development Programme to create employment opportunities for Yi women, providing weaving training to more than 1,600 Mosuo women in Yunnan province, and launching a program in 2025 to help female researchers return to scientific posts after childbirth.
