At a talent symposium, 10 leading experts from China and abroad – including Ding Qichao, director of the Jiufengshan Laboratory, and Zhao Yong, chairman of Wuhan Xinchuangyuan Semiconductor Co – shared insights drawn from their experience and offered valuable recommendations for strengthening OVC's talent ecosystem.
Regarding talent acquisition, they suggested identifying candidates through top-level competitions and exhibitions, establishing a new government-enterprise collaborative recruitment model, and creating fast-track certification channels for top talents.

For living conditions, the proposal called for creating high-quality social spaces akin to those overseas to help talents quickly integrate into the local community. In terms of service support, there was a call for continuous improvement in areas such as education for talents' children and high-end healthcare, making OVC not only a hotspot for entrepreneurship but also a desirable place to live.
OVC's relevant departments responded to the suggestions and will incorporate them into its 2026 Talent Work Plan. The zone is committed to attracting and nurturing talent with greater efforts, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship with practical measures, and enhancing services to create a first-class environment for talent development, ensuring that all talents can enjoy a comfortable, convenient work experience in OVC.
