Legoland Shanghai distinguished itself among strong international competitors with its "parent-child co-creation" concept. The recognition highlights the resort's success in crafting high-quality family bonding experiences, positioning it as a model of innovation in the family entertainment segment.

The jury praised Legoland Shanghai, emphasizing that the Lego signature "build-and-play" philosophy, combined with its thoughtful integration of local culture, was key to the resort's award-winning achievement.

Guided by an "edutainment" strategy, Legoland Shanghai fosters meaningful parent-child interaction through family-collaborative ride designs, seasonally refreshed themed events, and child-centric operational details. These elements create dynamic shared spaces that transform the resort into a place where family bonds are strengthened.

Data shows that family groups account for 80 percent of Legoland Shanghai's visitor base. Its influence has extended far beyond Shanghai, with an increasing proportion of visitors from other provinces.

Among Merlin Entertainments Group's 11 Legoland resorts worldwide, Legoland Shanghai has set multiple records: fastest to reach one million visitors, highest opening-year Net Promoter Score (NPS) in group history, and top opening-year revenue performance globally.
