China's top political advisory body, the National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, opened its annual session on Tuesday in Beijing. According to official data from the news center, over 3,000 journalists, including more than 1,000 from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, Taiwan and foreign countries, have registered to cover this year's two sessions, exceeding last year's numbers.
