Ningxia released five tourism routes showcasing its rich cultural heritage on Dec 31, 2024, as part of efforts related to the 2025 "Celebrate the New Year with Intangible Cultural Heritage" event.

These routes are designed to offer a diverse array of experiences, from traditional crafts and local cuisine to historic sites and natural beauty, providing an excellent opportunity to engage with Ningxia's rich cultural heritage and unique charm.

The Yinchuan tour features the Xixia Imperial Tomb sites, the Cheng Liji traditional liquor brewing workshop, the China Film Studio, and the ancient rock carvings of Helan Mountain.

The Shizuishan tour includes a visit to Longquan village, the gourd carving art workshop, Dawukou Industrial Heritage Park, and a paper-cutting studio.

The Wuzhong route highlights the Vinegar Cultural Health Park, a bustling food street, and the eight-treasures tea workshop.

The Guyuan tour showcases the Guyuan Museum, the Longde folk cultural village, the Wei Family's brick carving workshop, and more.

The Zhongwei tour consists of the Shapotou scenic area, a traditional architecture museum, a cultural industrial park, and local culinary delights.
