Auto parts manufacturer makes innovation a habit
After preliminary design and development in Suzhou, products are transferred to Changchun for mass production in a cyclical, alternating pattern.
Through the complementary advantages of Changchun and Suzhou, Yidong has continuously improved its traditional clutch product line, transitioning the core technology of traditional mechanical structural components toward more electrified and intelligent software control systems. This approach has driven product transformation and upgrades.
"During the process of independent innovation, the company has established two industry standards and obtained over 100 technical patents, including more than 20 invention patents," Liu said. "Further, after years of accumulation, the company's independently developed suspended-cab hydraulic lifting system for heavy-duty trucks filled a gap in the domestic market."
The product technology is at the forefront domestically and has enhanced the company's core competitiveness, which is also widely recognized by customers, he said.
