Tens of thousands of wild Mongolian gazelles have crossed the China-Mongolia border and migrated to Arxan in Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
Every winter, a large number of the gazelles come here to feed. In a vast area of forests, grasslands and wetlands, the creatures can be seen grazing peacefully, gazing into the distance and frolicking.
The Mongolian gazelle is a national first-class protected species in China and listed as an endangered species on the Red List of Threatened Species of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
