Xiangyang in Hubei signs sister city agreement with Carmel, Indiana

Xiangyang city in Central China's Hubei province established a sister city relationship with Carmel, Indiana of the United States on Tuesday, aiming to further consolidate and develop the friendly cooperation between the two cities, according to a report by Hubei Daily.
An agreement on the relationship was signed by the cities' top officials during a roundtable in Wuhan, the province's capital city.
The two cities agreed to promote friendly exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between their citizens on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
They will also actively carry out exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as science and technology, culture, sports, health, education and talent, according to the report.
