The 10th edition of the Longines Equestrian Beijing Masters was held recently at the iconic Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing.

Eleven top-notch equestrians from around the world, accompanied by elite steeds, came together at the National Stadium for a spectacular competition, delivering a high-caliber sporting feast for horse enthusiasts.

In the highly anticipated "Longines Grand Prix", Chinese rider Liang Ruiji claimed the title with a stellar performance, while Chinese rider Li Yaofeng and Swedish rider Rolf-Goran Bengtsson took second and third place, respectively. The awards were presented to the victorious riders by Matthias Breschan, CEO of Longines.

Breschan said that the Beijing Masters is one of the first prestigious horse riding competitions in China. He has seen equestrian sports are experiencing rapid growth in China, and he anticipates the hosting of an increasing number of high-level equestrian events in the country's future.

"We will definitely continue to be a partner of the Beijing Masters, and we will be a strong partner of the new coming events," he said.

According to Breschan, Longines has a long history with equestrian events. He said there is a perfect fit of equestrian with the values of Longines.
