More major domestic cities have adjusted COVID-19 control measures to make it easier for citizens to travel.

Early on Monday, Dalian, Liaoning province, announced that unless residents are going to nursing homes, welfare homes or medical institutions, they can and take public transportation to other places without showing a test certificate.

From Friday to Sunday, in addition to the four municipalities of Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing and Shanghai, capitals of 10 provinces and regions — including Shijiazhuang, Guangzhou, Kunming, Nanning, Harbin, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Jinan, Nanchang and Hangzhou — as well as some big cities such as Shenzhen, also announced new travel measures.

The optimizations mainly focus on canceling the check for nucleic acid test certificates for public transportation and allowing purchase of medicines or going to the outpatient departments of hospitals showing only a green code.

On Sunday, Shandong province further clarified that the requirement for mandatory test results upon arrival at traffic stations, ports and expressway checkpoints will be canceled starting on Monday.
