After topping the scoreboard at the Tokyo Olympic Games, Wang Shun realized his childhood dream. This 28-year-old veteran experienced a lot before winning the coveted men's 200m individual medley gold.
"The past is the past. What I need to do now is to try my best in the next two years," Wang told China Daily's program #EraofExcellence. Recalling his Olympic winning moment, Wang credited not only his hard efforts but also the great athletic environment provided to Chinese athletes.
