According to Ye Xiasheng, director of the center, hard work, courage to overcome frustration and constant effort are at the core of Chuanshi Island’s spirit.
"This is the invaluable spiritual wealth of Fujian weightlifters," he said.
On Monday, the Chinese weightlifting team wrapped up competition at the Tokyo Olympics with seven champions and a runner-up. Among the winners, Li Wenwen and Li Fabin were from Fujian.
