Luo Huining, director of the central government’s liaison office in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and national security adviser to the HKSAR committee on national security, said at the opening ceremony of National Security Education Day on Thursday the central authorities will, as always, lend full support to the SAR’s institutions of power and individuals and institutions that have been subjected to threats and sanctions for safeguarding national security.
