NPC deputy Xiang Xiaobo: Chinese enterprises go global through technological innovation
Chongqing- "Smart manufacturing is a breakthrough for manufacturing enterprises to enhance their international competitiveness," said Xiang Xiaobo, an NPC deputy and the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China Silian Instrument Group Co Ltd.
China Silian Instrument Group Co Ltd manufactures and markets industrial automation instrumentation and control equipment. The Company produces light-emitting diodes, semiconductor microelectronics, urban transit control equipment, and other equipment.
"If Chinese companies go global and gain their global influence, technological innovation is always the key." Xiang believes that the large investment in technological innovation of enterprises and the long R&D cycle require the joint assistance of the society and government departments.
In order to encourage enterprises to improve R&D productivity and continuous innovation, China has issued a number of preferential tax policies in recent years. Local tax authorities have also stepped up their publicity to implement relevant policies on tax incentives.
With the in-depth advancement of the taxation department's reform, various forms of policy promotion and guidance have been enriched, where taxation information has been streamlined and taxation procedures have been optimized. This helps companies resume work, and production not only effectively but also further optimizes the business environment.
Xiang continued, he hopes the taxation department will further increase policy support for high-end talents working in western China and developing cutting-edge scientific instruments. He thinks this will further optimize the taxation business environment and help manufacturing enterprises enhance their core competitiveness.
