Baseball-Softball Center for Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games starts construction

HANGZHOU - The Baseball-Softball Center for the 2022 Asian Games started construction on Sunday in Shaoxing city, Southeast of Hangzhou in East China's Zhejiang province.
Covering about 160,000 square meters, the center will become the largest baseball-softball field up to international standards in the country.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2021, with a total investment of around 1.8 billion yuan (about $254 million).
Besides baseball and softball, Shaoxing will also host basketball, volleyball and sport climbing competitions during the Asian Games.
The Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games will be the 19th edition and is scheduled to take place from September 10 to 25, 2022.?
