The Chinese Basketball Association on Sunday announced to suspend cooperation with Houston Rockets, following improper comment on Hong Kong by the team's general manager.
Daryl Morey, the general manager of the team, posted a tweet on Saturday saying he stands with Hong Kong rioters to fight for freedom, which angered Chinese netizens.
